Glencree Estate is located half an hour’s drive from Kaikoura, two hours from Picton and two hours from Christchurch)

Our two luxury chalets are the perfect exclusive retreat to share with your friends and family. Perched up in the Hundalee ranges on our private estate amongst native bush and wild animals you can enjoy the breath-taking views of the Seaward Kaikoura ranges to the west or the rugged Kaikoura coastline and Pacific Ocean to the East. All to be enjoyed from your hot tub or veranda.

Relaxation amongst our 680-hectare wildlife estate of sheer cliffs, natural waterfalls, flora & fauna, walking trails, wild animals and tranquillity.

We invite you to come and explore our property to your taste with guided walks, 4WD farm tours and guided hunting (in season) available.

Guests staying in the Tui or Kea Suite are afforded the warmth and comfort of modern country design featuring a king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom and a spacious living area to enjoy the breath-taking views. The chalets are positioned on an alpine ridge with views of the Pacific Ocean and unique Hundalee Ranges. Available on request, meals can be delivered by our in-house chef with our Farm to Plate option.
